LAW ADMISSION TEST (LAT)
LAT is a test that is conducted for the admission in LLB
degree which is a Fiver year degree program in recognized public & private institutes
(university/colleges) by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC).
When
to apply?
The Ads is mostly done in the month of July.
Candidates must apply within 15 days from the date of advertisement.
This test is conducted by in the month of August.
Who
conducts the LAT test?
Higher Education Commission (HEC) itself conducts the admission
test.
Which
students/candidates can apply?
Ø Students who have the Intermediate level/12 years of
education
Ø Students who have appeared the Intermediate level/12
years of education, and are waiting for the result.

Date
of Examination
ü Test will be held on 7th August 2022. Any
change in the date will be communicated by HEC.
ü Candidates must register themselves on http://etc.gov.pk with their E-mail ID &
mobile number.
ü They will download their Roll Number Slip from this
website account. The slip will also be sent to them via their registered e-mail
ID.
ü SMS will also be sent to the candidates for the test
venue, date & time.
ü A print-out of Roll Number Slip and original CNIC will be
required to enter in Examination Centre.
How
to Register for HEC Law Admission Test LAT 2022
v Please visit the following link: http://etc.hec.gov.pk for
online registration.
v In case of any difficulty during online registration, please
send an email at etc@hec.gov.pk or visit HEC Secretariat or regional centres
for guidance. Test fee worth Rs. 500/- is to be deposited online/ATM or through
bank draft in the Account No. 1742 7900 133401, Account Title: Higher Education
Commission, Bank: Habib Bank Limited, Branch Code: 1742
v Applicants are required to submit a copy of the fee deposit
slip/bank draft through courier or personally at Room No-212, 2nd Floor, HRD
Building. HEC, H-8, Islamabad on or before the last date of registration.
v Please mention your CNIC number at the back of the deposit
slip/bank draft. The test fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. The test
will be conducted in major cities.
v Applicants may select any examination centre from the list
available in the application form. Please note that the examination centre will
not be changed after registration.
The last date for online registration is July 22, 2022.
