Thar- a land of beauty and history

Thar is the landmark that mostly contains Southern region of Pakistan, Sindh province. Previously its size was bigger than present, but after partition, the part that went to India is named as Rajasthan and other that went to Punjab of Pakistan is called Cholistan. These two sub regions of deserted India and Pakistan actually were names of two small villages. Thar desert is one of the rarest deserts in the world that contains population of both plants and animals on a greater scale. It is very hot in Summer days and cold in nights. It is very dry area and lacks water throughout the year. The rainfall is unusual and if it rains, rains for days upto 36 to 400cm per year in only July-August and somehow in late winter. Sindh- land of unlimited natural resources

 In a major development, the Energy Information Administration (EIA), the USA federal authority on energy statistics and analysis, has estimated new recoverable shale gas deposits of  more than 105 trillion cubic feet (TCF) and more than nine billion barrels of oil in Pakistan. These estimates of recoverable hydrocarbon reserves are many times larger than so far proven reserves of 24 TCF for gas and about 300 million barrels for oil. Pakistan presently  produces roughly  4.2 billion cubic feet of gas and about 70,000 barrels of oil per day. A government official said the new estimates shown to be ‘very very encouraging’ but it had not been shared with the government of Pakistan. He told the shale gas had seen tremendous developments in the United States and a couple of other countries were trying to use the latest technology. Facebook starts Money Transfer service

                  Pakistan is the country that has been titled with "a rich country with poor nation". This is all because  the natural and human resources at hand with Pakistan are rusting. The country has been suffering from poorest political governance and worst martial laws.
